FemCity Des Moines

FemCity Des Moines host monthly Coffee Connections and monthly luncheons. Coffee Connections will be very organic in nature, where luncheons will typically have a speaker and a topic such as how to find your voice, communication tools that create loyal clients, what it looks like to start a business (the true story), panels of successful business owners and their stories, etc. FemCity Des Moines continually seeks input from business owners and other women to see what they desire the most and what would give them value.

Elevate is a group formed by West Des Moines Chamber that provides a distinctive platform for members to connect and learn from other community leaders from various industries and civic organizations throughout the state. Elevate’s goal is to raise awareness of the role equity plays in both work and home life and seeks to increase collaboration among community members and professionals to achieve a desirable work-life balance.

Monthly morning meeting hosted at Drake University’s Courtside Club by head women’s basketball coach, Jennie Baranczyk.
